Interior Intimacy

INTERIOR WHAT?

Interior intimacy is the quiet relationship between a space and the person inhabiting it. It lives in proportions, in softness, in how a material receives the body. A space does not need to speak loudly to be powerful — intimacy is created when design understands vulnerability, slowness, and presence.

In a world of oversized statements and hyper-stylized interiors, intimacy has become rare. Yet it is precisely this closeness — the feeling of being held rather than impressed — that allows people to connect, to pause, to feel safe enough to be themselves.

The Nest Pouf

The Nest Pouf was designed as an object of interior intimacy.
Low, grounding, and inviting, it encourages the body to soften and settle. Its form is neither rigid nor decorative; it is intentional, almost instinctive. Like a nest, it suggests protection, rest, and quiet belonging.

Rather than dictating how it should be used, the Nest Pouf adapts to the human body — sitting, resting, leaning, gathering. It creates a moment of closeness between object and user, turning space into experience.
